Men kan de stelling van Escher ook bewijzen door gebruik te maken van cooördinaten. Als je slim gebruik maakt van de mogelijkheden die je daarbij hebt, dan gaat dat een stuk sneller. Neem als oorsprong bijvoorbeeld het punt S en kies geschikte x- en y-richtingen (die hoeven niet per se loodrecht op elkaar te staan). Nog handiger is het om barycentrische coördinaten te gebruiken, maar dat is wel voor gevordenden.Links
